Plug test – Plug a tester like a GFCI outlet tester into each outlet to see if the outlet is correctly wired and grounded. Properly wired outlets will light the “correct” indicator.
Reset – For GFCI outlets, press the “Test” then “Reset” buttons to verify protection operation. The reset should restore power after testing trips the circuit.
