Patch hole in sheetrock with a patch
- Prepare the area by cutting out the damage.
- Apply joint compound or spackling paste to back of drywall patch.
- Place sheetrock patch over the hole.
- Use putty knife to apply joint compound or spackling paste. Smooth to flush finish.
- Sand and finish until smooth and level.
